As I wrote Friday, we've had a problem with people walking into our house unannounced. Well, last night after catching a movie and eating some really good sushi in Colorado Springs, we stopped at this little store to look at outdoor furniture, since Spring is coming, and I found the perfect solution to our little uninvited guest problem.
I've got to say, I'm both thrilled and shocked that Linda allowed me to buy it. And I swear, when I wrote yesterday about putting up a "Go Away" sign, I had no idea that we'd find this so soon.

If that doesn't do it buy two lawn gnomes and place them on either side of the door. Someone might miss the rug... but they WILL notice two gnomes and they will give your home that lived-in look.

We do try and lock our door but as weekends are beautiful here even in the Winter time we find ourselves in and out of the house quite often. Sometimes we actually forget to lock the door. But thanks for the hot tip!
