The first time around, I had help. This time I threw together 20 character names on my own. For each, see if you can remember the movie in which he/she appeared. Bonus points for the actor, but in at least two cases here, I don't know the actor.

ANSWERS
This one was tough, but between everybody most of them got guessed.
1. Garth Algar - Dana Carvey's character in Wayne's World. Paul and Sven got this one. Go figure - I think maybe they were two of the guys who came with me when I saw this one twice in the theatre in high school.
2. Thomas A. Anderson - Neo from The Matrix. Sven and Paul here too.
3. Brody Bruce - The lead in Mallrats, played by Jason Lee. NGewo not only got it, but corrected me on the spelling.
4. Roy Batty - Rutger Hauer's replicant from Blade Runner. KJ got it, and I managed to drive Paul insane.
5. Gabriel Cash - from Tango and Cash. Credit to The Dock.
6. Leo Crowe - Sven got this one. A fairly obscure character from Minority Report.
7. Smiler Grogan - This one, nobody got. I'm not shocked, it's a very old movie, although one of my favorites. Smiler Grogan was the guy from It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World who gave everyone directions to "The Big W". Jimmy Durante.
8. Byron Hadley - Nobody guessed this one either. Byron Hadley was the main prison guard in The Shawshank Redemption, played by The Kurgan himself, Clancy Brown.
9. Stringfellow Hawke - Weird name, forgettable movie. Airwolf. Jan Michael Vincent. Credit to KJ, although that might actually work as anti-credit, I don't know. Of course, I'm the one who came up with it, so what does that say about me?
10. Detective John Hobbes - NGewo got this. Denzel Washington's character from Fallen.
11. Lenina Huxley - Another mystery item - no guesses. This was Sandra Bullock's character in Demolition Man.
12. Lucas Jackson - A.K.A. Cool Hand Luke. Paul Newman.
13. Maven R Johnson - A.K.A. The Jerk. Steve Martin.
14. Wes Mantooth - My wife was the only one who knew Vince Vaughn's character from Anchorman.
15. Lt. Pete Mitchell - Sven recognized this oldie. Tom Cruise in Top Gun.
16. Morla, the Ancient One - Another one for the german movie buff. Sven described Morla as "The Turtle" from Neverending Story, and I have no better description.
17. Dennis Nedry - This was a tough one. I'm impressed that both Glenn and Linda got this. In Jurassic Park, it was the programmer who sabotaged everything then ran away and got killed.
18. Kyle Reese - I'm really surprised that more people didn't know the main character from The Terminator. Only my lovely wife.
19. Marla Singer - NGewo got this one. Fight Club. Great movie.
