Plague
Tuesday, February 5th 2008 · My Life
A plague has visited itself on my home and on my place of work. First, Lia got sick with what turned out to be an ear infection. She was pretty miserable, but she's getting over it now. Then I found out on Friday that a few co-workers were also feeling sick. That's when I started feeling like I was getting something. Linda was feeling the same way.
It didn't hit hard until Monday morning at about 4AM. Fever, and every cell in my body ached. Needless to say, I stayed home yesterday. Finished Call of Duty 4, played some God of War 2, and got Mario up to 72 stars. But mostly I slept.
I'm back at work today for some reason. I still feel sick, but I'm learning to like the taste of Theraflu.

Play all three simultaneously to remember those arcade parlor days.
See, when you get older your immune system has disposed of so many cold variants that you don't catch many of them any more. Plus, once your kid(s) finally leave home, the primary vector is gone, so you no longer have these sniveling bags of germs around.
:-)
Oh . . . feel better!
It was friggin' awesome when there were only about 15 of us in the chat room. I busted on him for trying to swindle us into buying those awful Diggnation beers and actually got a response. When the numbers started to hit 70 and Kevin found out he couldn't kick anyone, then it started to get annoying.
There's bugs like I mentioned above. The main issue was some people could only be heard by a portion of the viewers... but I'm sure those issues will be resolved.
Feel better Greg.
