All day, it's all I've been hearing from random people I'd walk past. I just went to the soda machine, and on the way there and back - a thrity second walk - I heard two separate conversations about tonight's game. Well, I inherited the Sox too, even if I don't follow sports. I'm rooting for 'em as much as I've ever rooted for any sports team. Go Sox!

So, it would appear there has been a Great Disturbance in The Force. The Baseball Commission should launch a full-scale investigation into this freakish occurance.

Growing up in Connecticut was always tough for baseball fans. When I was a (little) kid, there were four choices -- three of which were in New York (the Yankees, the Giants and the Dodgers). Now, with the options reduced to two, I guess I can forgive those who went over to the Dark Side.

Whoop it up, Boston. Maybe in another 86 years, you can do it again!
