Cool Cars I've Seen

August 7, 2008 -

Just pulled some photos off my phone that've been collecting digital dust for the past year or so. Figured I'd share.

The first one is a pic I snapped at a stoplight when the General Lee stopped next to me. Not quite as cool as the black-and-white Holstein thing I had going on my Subaru Justy in college, and not as cool as making your car into K.I.T.T., but cool nonetheless.

General Lee

The other one is a car I saw about a year ago at a county fair, promoting the Nintendo Wii. Kind of cool, so I snapped a pic with my phone.

Oh the infamous "Cow" Justy. That had more wheels than cylinders. I remember "the day the justy died". By the by did you ever save any of the "spot" magnets?

Love the General Lee!!! btw this makes me laugh about Knight Rider. Meg hates that they are bringing back the show with a Mustang which she doesn't consider to be a sports car.

I've had the pleasure of having my pic taken inside the general lee when i was like 6 and last year next to the "MYSTERY MACHINE." yes at 34 years of age, i had to have the pic taken.

I also have seen the oscar myer wieney mobile on the high way as well as i had the pleaure of racing the M&M mobile against my santa fe on 84 and it looked like a giant M&M with windows.

But there is nothing like the feeling of personally being a passanger in Greg's COW CAR. ThAT Took a lot of gutts in highschool to say 'I AM A GEEK AND Proud of it.' And GREG still had lots of freinds.

This is the kind of car I wanted when I was a kid.

Still wouldn't mind having one as long as it wasn't my primary vehicle.

The one and only BRAND NEW car I have ever owned--facsimile photo at: www.camarohighway.com/images/1stGen/69Z281.jpg.

Bought it in Langhorn, PA in late 1969. $3,800 and drive it off the lot.
