I discovered The Velvet Marauder's blog due to a recent tweet by Kris Johnson. Apparently, the blog was operational from 2004 to 2006, and is now idle, but it appears to have been made of win.
The Velvet Marauder is a superhero, and he kept a blog. I've only read a single entry at this point, about a villain named THE EXPLODER, but it rocks. Hardcore. The Exploder's power is, of course, to explode. The Velvet Marauder finds this decidedly inconvenient, as his car is more or less destroyed during the encounter.
I will be going back and reading more.

Whether he knows it or not, Dave Campbell is my hero (lapsed, because he put both of his awesome blogs on hiatus). The Velvet Marauder made me insanely jealous because I wanted to do the same thing with my own superhero (in fact, the blog exists but I don't update it or reveal its location yet) and Dave did it so well that I didn't think I could do more than a pale imitation.
Dave's second blog, Dave's Long Box, was also brilliant: Dave reviewed his comic book collection, no matter how old the books in that collection were. His sense of humor and absurdity kept me reading, and I was sad when his other obligations necessitated that he stop updating.
