Seven Weird Things

November 13, 2008 -

Well, Kris Johnson just tagged me, so I suppose I'll follow the chainblog game here. I'm supposed to post seven random and/or weird facts about myself.

For those who have been tagged, here are the rules:

  1. Link to the person that tagged you, and post the rules on your blog.
  2. Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself.
  3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post, and include links to their blogs
  4. Let each person know they have been tagged

Kris neglected to let me know that I'd been tagged, so I'm a bit delinquent in my posting here. Actually, it's kind of amazing that I'm posting at all, given how busy I've been learning Drupal. But I'm uploading a bunch of files now, and goofing off while I wait for the upload to complete on this slow-ass DSL connection.

Okay, okay. Here are my seven weird random facts.

  1. My first car was a white Subaru Justy. I bought a black sheet of magnet and cut out spots for the car to make it look like a Holstein.
  2. I used to be a master control operator at FOX-61 TV in Hartford.
  3. The first time in my life I was ever drunk was the millennium New Years Eve, 1999. I was 26 years old.
  4. Decades ago, I had a dream about a fat kid in my backyard named Humbopakeru. The only thing I really remember about the dream is the name.
  5. If you name a song I know, I can usually pick out the notes and play it on a piano within a minute or so.
  6. I was once a paid dancer at a Cherry Poppin' Daddies/Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Concert in Providence.
  7. In eighth grade, we went on a field trip to an amusement park. They gave us each $20 for food. Me and a few other kids spent the $20 in the arcade on Gauntlet and didn't go on any rides.

So now I'm supposed to tag seven others. Here goes.

  1. Brandon
  2. Lia
  3. Frank
  4. Josh
  5. Marsha
  6. Michelle
  7. Reuben
