I just read an article on Joystiq about DS Lites having a problem with the left hinge cracking.
So I pulled mine out to take a look. Guess what? Mine is cracked in the exact same spot as in the picture.

Yikes. That sucks. Mine appears to be crack free, thank the gods! Hopefully the crack won't cause any gaming problems.
