Not only DOESN'T a falling tree make a sound if there is nobody there to hear, but there is no tree at all if there is nobody around to see.
If you attempt to videotape this, the tape will remain blank UNTIL such time as you play it back. It's at this point, things get weird.

Nothing like waxing philosophical with spoilers. This has all the makings of Berkeley's resolution to Hume's "wrecking-ball" skeptical attack on Rationalism and empericism.
